It’s Vocational Service Month - What are you "WORKING" on?

As Rotarians, we represent our vocation within Rotary and Rotary within our vocation. Do we make full use of the wealth of talent and experience of our membership and are we aware of these resources?

Rotary International celebrates Vocational Service during the month of October. In District 7020 we also want to hear what is happening throughout the District in Community and International as well as Vocational Service.

How do your members use their vocations to make a difference in your community?

What needs of your community has your club has fulfilled because of the particular vocational expertise of members of your club?

Have any of your members been able to touch lives in another country through service as a Rotary Volunteer?

In our travels during the first quarter of this Rotary year we have seen, first hand, the exceptional work being carried out by Rotarians throughout the District. I would love to be able to share with everyone the successful service projects in your area and this will be possible when we receive all the entries for the Club of the Month for October. By November 5th, I hope you will have submitted to your Assistant Governor and the District Secretary and account of your favourite service projects. It is through sharing these stories that our clubs and our district can become Bigger, Better and Bolder and I look forward to reading about your activities.
